Screenplay to Novel in 2 Months or Less
- 55,000 Words.
- 55 Days.
- $5,500 Dollars.
You’ve got a great screenplay.
Putting your awesome story in front of audiences means getting your screenplay optioned, finding talent and resources, raising a budget that matches the vision, getting through production and post-production, performing well in festivals, finding a distributor, then finally getting a theatrical release or going straight to streaming.
That’s years and years of dedication and resources from dozens or hundreds of people.
In the meantime? Nobody’s experiencing your amazing story.
Don’t Wait On Production
Turning your screenplay into a novel is a much more direct path to sharing your story. Plus, it can help prove the commercial value of your concept.
But writing novels is a completely different skill set from screenwriting. There are entirely unique narrative requirements; more internal dialogues to consider; opportunities to switch up POV; and more.
If you’ve got the skills for narrative prose, I highly recommend novelizing your screenplay.
But if you’re busy, or prose writing isn’t in your wheelhouse, I can help.
Who This Is For
Seeing your story on the screen may be your ultimate and only goal. And that’s awesome — I wish you all the luck in the world.
But if you’ve been shopping your screenplay without any bites and you’re tired of the story living in the dark;
If you think having a novel will enhance the value of your screenplay and help find a producer;
Or if you think maybe the story will benefit from the extra depth and texture a novel can provide;
Then novelizing your screenplay might just be the ticket you’ve been looking for.
How It Works
You provide your completed feature screenplay – up to 100 pages, formatted to industry standards.
- I’ll read the screenplay and note any observations and thoughts I need to clarify.
- Then we’ll discuss it together to ensure I understand your themes and story goals… We’ll make decisions together about any changes or additions necessary to make the translation from script to novel work.
- I’ll write chapter one for you to review for tone, voice, and structure.
- And from there we’re off to the races!
- No surprises.
- No extra fees.
- No unending timelines.
- No AI.

Testimonials
“We’ve worked with a LOT of writers over the years, but this has been hands down one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Massively over-delivered on the final manuscript. Extreme communication at every step of the way… He took a “so-so” story idea and really made it shine. Highly recommended if you need a stellar creative writer to fine-tune your story, idea, or manuscript!”

“Chip graciously provided me with detailed feedback on my ambitious science fiction space opera that is in its early stages. I have a long road ahead and the draft is extremely rough, but he not only took the time to read through all 70k+ words and make notes along the way, he also included a summary page with loads of comments and questions, which is exactly what I was looking for. He is a genuine professional. You’ll be in good hands if you choose him to help with your project.”
— JM, Author – Epic Sci-fi
