🎉 Congratulations to the whole team! CA is a great company, and I’m still so proud of the work I was able to do there.
My Work With CareAcademy
In 2017, CareAcademy was possibly the first training client I worked with after leaving MarketMotive/Simplilearn. They were a startup, just putting together their first suite of courses for Home Healthcare Workers, and my job was writing training scripts based on their SME documentation.
They were kind enough to fly me out to their headquarters in Boston to meet the core team (at the time, about 12 people), and we talked about the goals of the company, what the training needed to look like, and how I could best contribute to their new curriculum.
Over the next couple of years, I wrote more than 100 courses/lessons on topics ranging from how to properly handle medication to caring for patients with memory loss to providing fair and equitable healthcare to LGBTQIA+ patients.
I appreciate CA trusting me in their early days… eLearning is a great way for professionals in any industry to upskill and improve their careers. But helping to build training that not only improves the learner’s life, but also impacts the quality of life for their vulnerable patients with special needs related to age, illness, or emotional challenges was just doubly satisfying.
Congratulations to the whole team!
“We wouldn’t be the company we are without your work. Hugely grateful for your contributions!”
