"Layla: Live or Die" Black Dove Entertainment - Art Director: Chip Street. This film was shot in July of 2008 in San Jose, CA, and tells the story of a young woman who arrives in the US for an arranged marriage, only to be abandoned by her husband-to-be. Left to fend for herself, she becomes entwined with a city cop and the murder investigation that is turning his life upside down. Pictured: "A's Gentlemen's Club" dancer's dressing room, created in the corner of a warehouse loft. This set came together in 3 hours from found objects and small purchases, largely from the Dollar Store and yard sales.
